50 years in one incredible city

In 1969, Indiana University and Purdue University merged their many programs and schools in Indianapolis to create IUPUI. Today, we celebrate 50 years of change and growth. The year-long celebration officially begins July 1, 2018.

I remember registering for classes in the 1970s in the Lecture Hall. All departments and classes would be set up at tables with boxes for each class. The boxes contained IBM cards, one card per student in the class. Once all the cards were gone from the box, the class was full.
