This year’s theme, “Communicating to Equalize Health at the Crossroads of America” centers on communication around health disparities in Indiana/Indianapolis as they relate to vulnerable populations.
The speakers will present the state of affairs of health care as it relates to vulnerable populations in the city and the role that communication does or could play within the various channels, organizations, agencies, and more.
The Joseph T. Taylor Symposium at IUPUI features panel discussions and talks by IUPUI, local, and national experts around a different theme. Joseph T. Taylor Excellence in Diversity Awards, honoring people and programs who have improved diversity at IUPUI are also presented. The symposium is open to the public.
