The very first time I heard about IUPUI was during my Fulbright application process. Karoly Jokay, the Executive Director of the Hungarian-American Fulbright Commission told me that if I would like to deepen my understanding of and gain experience in philanthropy and fundraising, I should consider the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI, the world’s first school dedicated solely to the study and research of philanthropy. I did so and, after successfully applying for the school’s graduate program, I became one of the nearly 2,200 international students at IUPUI who contribute to the campus’ cultural diversity today.

IUPUI empowered me to improve myself, reach my goals and be a responsible world citizen.
